Life is magical. Things happen when you least expected them to. Sometimes, this may be good, sometimes, this may be bad. Everything is unpredictable.

Life for me is in a twirl now. Totally unmotivated. Seriously wanting to indulge in something forbidden. When you thought that you had win the war, you will realise that it is just a battle. The war is far from over.

Is life really more complicated when one has more education? Isn't it the opposite way? That we have more answers to our questions? Why are we getting more perplexed then? Are we asking too much questions? Are we overestimating our capabilities? Are we just animals lost in our own world?

Everyone around me is screwed this semester. I hate this semester. I hate the whole atmosphere in school. I hate to say that I can never be the best. I am tired of the rat race. I need a break. NOW.

No one will understand. Everyone have their own set of problems they have to conquer. There is no end to a problem. How long can optimism acts as a shield? How long can we buffer our emotions?

I need to find some meanings in my life.

It's been a long time since I blogged.

Life has been slacked. Lazing my life everyday, doing nothing but think of nothing. Contradictory. But it is true.

Met clement for lunch recently. He still feels like the same old Clement. Honest, humble and nice to talk to. Maybe it is me who has changed. But. it is good to be with him since I can be the same old liqing when I was in year 1. Hopefully he will take his Master in Singapore.

The semester is coming to an end and I seem to have been confused about everything in life.
Seriously, I have no control. I just want to play and drink the whole day. Life sucks.

Two projects due soon and I do not know where to start nor do i want to start. I want to take a semester off. Been having this thought since mid term and I seriously know this is not good. Arrrrgg....I'm tired of school ...:(

Sometimes, it is really amazing to meet people who seem to know all the things under the sun. Talking to them just make things seem so much easier. I want to be like them too!

Intellectual is what I strive to be and I want to know more about everything and not just psychology. I must make the effort to see more, ask more and to understand more. Life will be so much interesting!

I have gone boggie these few days.

Chinese new year seems to be more and more routine as I grow older. I can't understand why my family want to meet so many times during new year.... yawn.. I hate house visiting because it is so boring. I don't gamble so all I can do is play "jia jia jiu" with my younger cousins.

Anyway, I went to school today even though it is mid term break now. I have 2 assignments due next week and 2 mid terms. That is so scary. I still can't figure out what to write for my assignments which revolve around writing a reflective essay after watching some so called "classical" film. And worst still, both revolve around love... blab... love in a foreign country and love cross culturally. Satish commented that they were romantic...##@%%% maybe I am too emotionless to be "wowed" by the romanticity protrayed in the two movies.

Anyway, I was reading Xian's blog just now and she has started to sell handmade earrings. Check it out here ... http://www.beadsnature.blogspot.com/ . I really admire people who design and make their own accessories. For one, I will never do it myself because I do not have the talent... sobzzz... maybe I should try it sometimes. but till then , I shall concentrate on my studies...

Ponned my first tutorial of the semester. hahha.. Gonna S/u it and I am loving it!

Met Jeanice today and had a great talk with her. It had been a long time since I met her. Really felt encouraged after talking to her. :P

After that I went for a consultation with kelvin. He totally blew me off. I have never been this impressed with any guy. What can I say ? He is a total thinker...woohooo.. double inspiration in just one day! I'm going to be a thinker like him! Yippeeee!!!

On a sad note, I totally forgotten that I will have 2 midterms after the break...sobzzz.. life is not fair.. poofff... but i shall not be defeated by it.. hahahahhaha

I'm an expensive woman.

As usual, the coming of Chinese new year provides a great reason to shop! Indeed, I declare myself broke now.

Impulse buying is never good, especially when one is alone. I went Vivo city with Hoiting today. While she was with me, I tried to suppress myself...bought 1 top from Zara. But after she left to meet her friend, I shopped alone to wait for Choy.. and guess what ...I spent another $140 on only 2 tops.... Faintz...I such a spoiled and irrational shopper. And I even have to resort to removing the price tag before I reached home just in case my mum kills me...

On a happy note, at least I bought my clothes...After Choy came, we wanted to settle for some restuarant... arrrrggg.. in the end , we had to settle for foodcourt. Can you believe it... Me and choy eating at a foodcourt... Call us spoiled... arrrrggg... Foodcourt is totally our last resort..blab...

New year is just around the corner... I am in a holiday mood now...I must buck up...projects deadlines are all nearin...Just kill me...

Went Morocco with Peiying to chill out today... but I guessed we both weren't feeling that great..due to some information which were given to us before the drinking session. We were trying hard to be high but in the end, we gave up and went home early...Sigh...

My life has been chaotic ever since the start of school... Project preparations and loads of meetings.... I finally get to feel the purpose of my existence. Busy Busy Busy.. but i'm loving it!

I had my first meeting with my JS team yesterday... got a bit high sia.. and kept laughing all the way.. I guess I'm intoxicated by the water I drank...But then again, it was a fruitful meeting. We all had our thinking caps on!

Monday shall be another tiring day. 2 more meetings awaiting me.. haha.. and lesson till 9. But, I'm waiting for lesson to end to have dinner with Weiying! I want to eat yummy Tomyam!

Jacelyn had flown off to US. I hope she is coping fine there.

Haiz.. something "malu" happened to me brainlessly.. sobzzz...

During JS tutorial, we were supposed to introduce ourselves.. and to say our names and interests. And guess what.. i told them my interest is to read journals regarding neuroscience. Sobzz... Yuxin said I sounded like a geek... sobbzzz sobbzzz sobbzz... other people said their interests were sports or watching tv.. or anything normal .... now I feel so silly...

But then again.. I'm a geek... heee. I love neuroscience.. and H*n too..

What exactly do we mean by "wrong thing" ?

Just back from watching "blood diamond". And I don't like it at all.

Too bloody. Maybe they should rename it as "bloody diamond". heee...

Im actually quite angry now. Someone opened my letter which contained my result for last semester. And bloody left it on my cupboard with not even a slightest intention of concealing the fact that they or he/she has invaded into my privacy! WHAT THE FUCK!

So what the talk about respecting each other? I'm thinking about ways to deal with the situation to avoid a bloodshed. And i definitely do not want to do anything now since as a psychology major, I know I will be more or less be influenced by the violent movie I see just now subconsciously.

Arrrggg.. what the ... I shall think about it when I am in a better mood tomorrow.

I didn't get one of my tutorial slot. And it wasn't my fault. Blab... He opened one more slot at the last moment without informing us. Well, his intellectual level is comparable to the amount of hair he has left. Well.. Well.. that means I need to participate in round 1B tomorrow. Balloting can really be a hassle. Yawn...

I need to have a clear mind, be focused and stay attentive. Today had been a very very very unproductive day. hahahh.. was supposed to be doing loads of stuff for my 6 hours break. In the end... hahaha.. went for a 2 hours lunch with Hoiting. Shopped at the bazaar and co op with Joanne, Rena and weying for another one and a half hour. Went back to the library. Was supposed to do some decent studying. In the end... spent half an hour watching bleach on my ipod. Sobbzzz.. After that, I went to met JAcelyn for a drink at Grinning Gecko for 1 hour. Sobzzz... The last one hour was spent surfing the net. Sinful me... sobbbzzzz...

Someone gave me a cold smile today. Actually, I don't really know how a cold smile looks like.. hahaha.. but the smile felt cold. Blab...Hope it will be a warm one the next time I see it...

I want to blog a long entry but there is nothing in my mind.

What should I write about?

School? Funtime? Or Crazy stuffs?

It sucks when you have nothing to do at home. I want to study but I don't know where to start. At a loss for my level 4000 module. Well well well, at least for now, I enjoy all my modules so far. I hope tutorials start soon and I get real busy.

Yesterday was quite fun. Took a ride in Yirong's car with June and Jo. Yippeee... Nice and cooling nice which was definitely an eye opener for me. Firstly, we went to Geylang to see women. But we only saw one because it was rainning and according to Yirong, they don't come out on rainning days. Well, what a letdown! Humph! We shall go there one day again. But the sad thing is , we didn't see Siangsiong also. whahahahaha

Later we went Changi Village to see ah kuas. We saw four in all. They were very pretty. Thumbs up for them! After seeing them, we set off to the airport hangar. It was real cool with the breeze blowing while the car drove passed the straight lane. We saw planes setting off and landing at the runway. I want to go there again!!!! The last place we went was a short cruise round SRAF yacht club and I mean SHORT. hahah.. just one round around the carpark. I love it!! It was a cool night!!

There are so much more to say.. but I am just so lazy.. Never mind.. will leave it till next time..

Yippeee!! Finally Got all my modules after 4 days of war.

Bidding for modules via Cors is never easy. As usual, this semester, I will be taking modules with a variety of people like Weiyang, Weiying , Yuxing, Kitying, Rena and Dorcas. And once again, Hoiting will still remain as my schoolmate.(WE ARE NOT FRIENDS! heee)

I'm looking forward to the opening of school. Like I say, I forsee a good semester ahead. And I am sure if there is any hiccups, I will brave through it. :P

Booo... this semester, they have not uploaded the ivle workload for two of my modules yet. Humph! The lecturers are getting lazier or are they postponing one week before the first lecture starts? Ok. I am dreaming again.

boohoo...I have 6 hours break on Monday and I end at 9 BUT I have Weiying to accompany me! Yippee.. We are going to mug hard in the library and wait for eye candy.. hahha..

Cors sucks big time!

Sobzz.. outbidded for two of my GEK modules. Don't even have enough to put as the minimum bid. Biz law exhuasted all my available resources.

Anyway, had a chat with Yicong just now. And I came up with a new new year resolution which I will keep to myself. I'm so happy and I will work towards it this year! It shall be a great semester!!!

Looking through my past blog entries, I realised I have as much happy moments as well as sad ones.

1) I made and lose some important friends in life.
2) I learnt to be more independent and to love myself even more.
3) I found myself intrigued in the world of neuropsychology which I most probably will be pursuing in the future.
4) I spent more time with my parents.

I'm depressed.

Sinking into depression? Or am I a nutcase right at the beginning?

I woke up feeling very down today - thrown to the pit bottom of my emotions.

I am still feeling angry for the 40 minutes delay at collecting the history paper yesterday. I have a bloody bad feeling that I wrote out of point and it truly doesn't help when I did not do well for my midterm essay. Who say that you will achieve what you want if you put in the effort?

Will I even get a C? Maybe not. It could be a BIG D. Will I ever cope with the fact if it really turns out to be a D? A brand new experience. BAD experience.

It doesn't make things better with my sore red right eye. Was it a rebellion within myself? I haven't cried for a while and I hate crying. Was it a warning for me not to suppress how I feel anymore? I want to cry out loud, but the tears just won't come out. Or have I been crying in my dreams?

I hate myself this semester - for being inhuman to lots of people around me and not feeling guilty about it. I hate myself for concealing my true feelings this semester. I hate myself for having the heck care attitude. I hate myself for doing the minimal for everything.

I hate university life. I made a few friends but lose a dozen of them. Friends whom I thought will be friends for life just let me down time and again. I hate making friends now. I want to isolate myself. I have bulit walls around me - impenetrable. What you see now is really a shell or even a creature without any emotions waiting to hurt anyone who comes near her, so leave me alone.

Let me just dwell in my misery. You will never understand how I feel because I do not know myself too. ..

My world comes tumbling down.

Tomorrow is the start of my EXAM.

The start of the devilish and sinister experiences, which torture almost everyone every semester.

I am so F.worried because I have not been worrying for my exams since the start of the reading week. I am slow in my revision and I do not even want to study.

Studying is BORING!

Rena knocked some bloody sense into me on Friday when she exclaimed this “meaningful” sentence to me when I told her I am going to wait to Sunday to study for my bizad paper on Monday.

“I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU ARE NOT WORRIED FOR A NON ARTS MODULE WHICH YOU NEVER S/U!”

It did have an effect on me for a while. In addition, I seriously mean for a while. The next day, I woke up, I totally forgot about it or I pretended to.

I am not complacent, if that is what you are thinking. I am just disillusioned.
Disillusioned about the world, about my future and about life.

Stupid Rena planted some naughty thoughts into me. Rena is weird in some sense. Hahahaha.

She said she wished she know smoking because it can be a source of relaxation. Hahaha… Crazy. I bet she got this idea from XXX and RRR who seemed so carefree after smoking. Of course, I smacked some rationality into her, which means I am still sane to know what is right and wrong.

Enough of exams. It sucks.

I think I have been primed.

I just cannot stop thinking about the thing. Every minute and every second.
Arrggg… to hell to whoever who primed me to have this silly thought. Now I cannot seem to stop myself from thinking. AND THIS IS TOTALLY NO GOOD! I hope this illogical thought will end as soon as my last paper ends.

Now is time to start slacking again. I shall study later.

While I was collecting my essay with Hoiting today, we met Nicholas Hon, one of the few lecturers who made an impact on my life. Although I do not agree with some of the things which he said sometimes, nevertheless, he does impart some of his sensibility to me.

People who really think will triumph and override everyone. When he meant think, it really means seriously and critical thinking. I wish someone has said that to me long ago. I guessed today, he really changed my perception of studying.

I feel so lousy ever since I am not sure when – maybe after the developmental lab presentation.

It sucks to the core.

Much as I hate to complain, I guess I still need this space to do some reflections.

I seriously think I am like a train, an exhausted train that has started a glorious journey but got tired on my way. I have no more energy left. Things are moving at a super slow pace for me now. I think I went too fast at the beginning and now I am at a loss of what to do.

A break is what I need and I took it – a three days break. However, at the end of it, I still feel not as motivated. It is the last race of the semester. I know I need to gear up, but I am lacking in the spirit to do so.

Sometimes, I feel like I am a shell, all empty inside – devoid of any feelings or expression. Life is like acting. The better you get at it, the easier it will to lie to the people around you that you are all right.

I need to snap out of how I feel right now. To be in the state I am at the beginning of the semester.

With the last remaining strength, I will make it happen.

It struck me at this point that I no longer care. No matter what the truth is, it does not interest me. I wanted to blurt out how I really feel. However, I knew it would spell more problems.

In the end, I just tried to brush off the whole subject.

I am surprised at how cold I am. In the past, I guessed I would be more empathetic and humane. Now, this kind of things does not really does not matter to me. People should take up responsibility for what they do and even how people think about them – if they really care.

I am learning hard too, to be responsible for whatever I do. In the end, the eventual outcome would only affect me the most.

On a lighter note, I am glad that I have completed my memory essay. Now I am left with a presentation and 2 essays. Looking back, this semester has been quite tough but at the same time, fruitful. I learnt to be independent and enjoyed myself to the utmost although I have to admit that I complained a lot. :P

It is often a joy to just have lunch with a company of friends with the same goal and ambition. There is always fun and laughter although I know most of the time, they are laughing at me. Hoiting said that I have DID. Sobs! Seriously, I do not. I believe that she is just jealous of my “memory” and me. Whatever it is, thanks for bring joy to my life with all you stupidity! Hahaha. Opps.

I am going to rest now. Too tired. I want earn money to shop!!!!

Wanted to take things slow this semester but it seems like it is not possible.

People around me have been telling me that they will put in more effort. For this semester, it seems that I have taken a different perspective on studies. Nevertheless, it is nice to see so many of my jc and secondary schoolmates around this semester. It just reminds me of how much energy and zest each of us possess when we first entered NUS. I guess one of the highlights is to see Nat around since we have been quite close during secondary. (Choy, if you are reading this entry, you are invited to have lunch with us most probably next week to catch up, so make yourself free ya!)

It is good to be back again.

This semester just feels different and I can’t explain why. I just feel like going with the flow, regardless of whether it is good or bad. Like what Weixin has said, she feels frighten this semester but she has no idea where the fear came from. Maybe I am feeling the same way as she is right now.

Recently, I found that I have become quite intolerant towards my tutees. I guess apart from the stress from school, I am still heavily responsible for my students who will be taking PSLE this year. I hate it when I have to scold my cousin harshly when he refuses to do his work or give me a patronizing piece of work. I hate scolding students. I know how detrimental this is to their egos and how it feels to be scolded. I hate it when I lose my patience. L

Let’s hope things will be better this week.

First day of school = Screwed up day

How badly can your day be screwed?

1) I forgot to check the venue of my lecture and I had to ask jolene to check for me. Worst still, I am taking the module alone so I have no friend count on

2) Waited 15 minutes for my bus and I found that I forgot to bring my pencil box on the bus.

3) Reached one bus stop which was 4 stops away from Arts and waited helplessly there looking at three 151 full of students swooshed past without even stopping. Stranded alone at the bus stop accompanied by heavy downpour. In the end, I have to take a taxi.

4) After Q-ing up at Co-op for 30 minutes to buy my book, I realised that I need to Q up again because the history book which peiyun was supposed to lend me was no longer the required text.

5) Went home and checked my email and found that i have to vote for one of my tutorial slot for one special module. But they took away the link when they said the dateline was BY 15 AUG which means I can still vote. Wrote an email to make my stand and i realised I sounded quite rude.

Fireworks Fireworks Fireworks...

Went to watch fireworks with Onglai, Joanne , Rena and Biyun yesterday. It was considered a fun night if we excluded the pinching and fighting part.. What can I say...with biyun and Onglai around....Luckily, I wasn't inflicted with much bruises. Poor Rena was kept captive by Biyun and Onglai.. haha..

Devilish splurge...

Went to watch "CLICK" with jolene.... and ended up buying 3 pairs of shoes and 1 hair conditioner from bodyshop. :P With jolene around, hahaha..we just have just to splurge! She bought 300 pairs of shoes ... haha.. just joking.. She told me not to anyhow say anything because she is scared that Anabelle will scold her.. Oppss...:P It has been a great evening - nice movie , extravagant shopping and great company.. :P Looking forward to another shopping trip!!

While reading one of the books I bought recently, I came across an interesting passage...two to be exact..

Counting my blessing...

There are so much things I want to blog .. but I guess I am just so lazy...Been quite contented with my life recently...making full use of my much precious short break before school starts..

Come to think of it.. I missed bidding one of my modules in round 1b.. Humph.. silly me, got mixed up with the modules available for each round... I hope I will still get the module which I want in round 2A, if not.. I guess I will have to take some tough dumb modules. Freaking unprepared for this semester because most of the modules are quite new to me. I managed to bid from dev lab but I am still truamatised by dev psychology. I hope I will be able to handle Elliot's assignment this semester. :(

Recently, I realised that I seemed to have slow down in my cognitive thinking. It is scary. Sobzzz...I can't seem to beat my cousins and my sister at arcade games. Pui. I suspect it could be due to too much meta cognition. Not only that, I have become super forgetful. Totally forgotten about Audrey's birthday on Friday...by the time, I remembered it, it was almost midnight.. I guess I shall play more computer games to stimulate my brain.

Received a couple of birthday invitations. That is another issue on my mind. There is so much to consider when going to a birthday party. I hate going to one where I know no one. Unfortunately, when I asked around, it really seems as if all my friends are not going to attend it. Well, I know I am selfish not to attend it just because I am the only one from my clique who has time to go, but then again.. haizz.. I am trapped to make a sound decision.. Whatever. I still have 5 more days to think. Let's hope I will find someone to go with me.

Trip with Joanne to Genting for a short break is cancelled because she needs to do some urgent relief teaching. Well, I was quite excited at first.My heart was broken when she broke the sad news to me. Never mind, maybe we shall plan for a Bangkok trip in our September holidays. :P

Been blessed with a good part time job to carry out behavioral therapy with a child with autism. Peiyun, Jiahui, Gini and me will all be working together. We will be trained by a psychologist from ABA. Yippee.. A first hand experience and the pay is real good. :P Thanks Peiyun for jio-ing me!!

My entry seems bit and pieces... By the way, I have uploaded some videos which I took .. haha.. not very well taken... I am still a novice, but I will IMPROVE.

The first 3 videos are my primary school. hee... took them during my school visit with Hil May. :P It is going to close down at the end of the year.. :( I miss my childhood days. Sitting under the tree with my bestfriends and talking about our dreams. I miss the freedom.I miss the laughters and tears. I miss the ghost stories. I miss every moment of it.

Let's hope that we will all start this semester with a big bang!

It has been a long time since I publish any entry.

Been quite busy with my life.

Commitments, new opportunities, valuable experiences.

Should I say I am enjoying every moment of my life now?

Well, I guess so. Recently, a number of people have been commenting that I look happier these few months. Well, I guess I took a less serious note towards life. As quoted from Hil May, we do not always have to be there to make things right. I realised that detachment is what I need. I guess I have sort of isolate myself from most of my friends, except for a few occasional dinner meetings. My life revolves around myself now and I am quite contented.

I found my direction in life, or should I say, I have reaffirmed of what I want in the future. I am happy now and I want to work towards it.

I hope school will start soon. Peiyun recommended me a part time job with little working hour and great pay. Yippeee!! Looking forward to a brand new experience…
