I love my job !!!
Yippee! Went for my 2nd shadowing trip today!!
FUN FUN FUN!!!
Blessed with a good mentor, kenneth!! At first ,I thought I would not be able to communicate with him since he is a canadian... In the end , I realised he is quite corny... Faintz Faintzz Faintzzz... I learnt quite a lot from him. Well, hmm.. where should I start ...
I guess his way of working is quite different from the rest of the educational psychologists since he is from overseas. He taught me about flexibilty and the importance of a good relationships with the school personnels. He cleared many of my doubts and presented me the reality of the world. Free lunch during the school trip is a plus plus plus...I simply adore him ( as my mentor)!!!
Today's shadowing was quite fruitful..Saw the real life administration of the Wisch IV and WORLD intelligence test.. it was quite funny though to hear the answer given my the pupil....
Funny Funny Funny...
There was one question which goes like this..
What will you do if you see black smoke coming out of the house?
And guess what...
The boy shouted... BLACK BIRDS BLACK BIRDS..
I nearly laughed my head off... hee...
Today was the first time I saw a mother cried because Ken recommended her son to a learning school as her son has a learning disorder.... :(
Blab.... Busy busy busy...
Ken told me an interesting story today...
One day , a teacher, a psychologist and a child were travelling in a car when the car broke down. As a result, the teacher had to come out of the car to change one of the tyres. After he unscrewed the bolts , he put them in a box on the road. Suddenly another car came by and splattered all the bolts on the road. The teacher and psychologist did not have any idea of how to secure the tyre without the bolts. In the end , the child gave an ingenious solution. If it was you, what will you do?
heee... Guess the solution which the child gave?
Tada....Unscrew one bolt from each of the tyre and use it to secure the tyre without the bolt...
Ain't he ingenious ... and the amazing thing was that the child did not even know how to brush his teeth as he has low IQ level... hee...
So is creativity and intelligence correlated?
That is a controversial issue....:P
